Dave Park did a fantastic job at not only explaining what he was doing, next steps but also in setting me up so that the problem wouldn't reoccur in future. I'm sure that as a team IT support gets a lot of calls from very frustrated people such as myself, so to be met with patience and good humour completely changed my feeling around the problem.
